Well, I tried getting a raise to keep up with inflation but have been constantly been told no for more than a year now. Things are hurting all around so I've been on the hunt for a job for about 6 or 7 months now without luck (had passively searched earlier but it become more relevant the more nos I got).
Well, I finally got an actual bite on a new job but it isn't better than my current one. However, both are remote so I'm of the mind to pick this new one up as an addition instead of a replacement.
I wholeheartedly think we all work way too much for way too little for completely shady reasons… But this seems like a decent solution to the low wage situation. I'd basically be doing both jobs at the same time and double my income without having to sacrifice what little personal/family time I have already. My main job is pretty light on the work load.
Curious if anyone else is currently doing this or have considered it?
