A Recruiter* sorry for the title fudge.
I was approached to be a recruiter and, having no idea what I was in for, thought it was a great opportunity to escape the retail grind and get a 'real career'
I burnt out in 2 months, literally couldn't bring myself to do what was requested as I found it unethical and just plain bad business. I wanted to help people, not hunt them.
And now I sit here, a new notification each day of someone accepting a connection request sent prior to my leaving, I've updated all the account info yet still keep accruing followers.
The account is in my name and has no ties to the recruiters, I am going to start posting and spreading antiwork propaganda there. Many of the people who accepted my request are IT TYPES, who are also fed up with the system.
If you can do the same, do it, Linkedin has the most geared and manipulative anti worker algorithm I've ever seen and it's where those who need to here this the most spend all their time.
