I was placed on unpaid leave on February 2nd 2022 as I cannot wear a proper mask. At the time I had 2 doctor's notes explaining my condition and that I should not cover my nose or mouth. I then got a 3rd doctor's note and remained on unpaid leave for another 2 weeks which ends on the 13th or yesterday. The BC Provincial mask mandate ended last week. So currently my unpaid leave has expired and I was supposed to meet with boss today about returning to work. She cancelled my meeting and has not provided a new date. So I am still off work as I cannot wear a mask even tho there is no mask mandate anymore… They said it was to keep me safe but that was a lie… thoughts? Anyone know a good employment lawyer in the lower mainland?
