I feel like there are some people who just accept status quos as they are. They don't think about what can be. The average office worker today has the same productivity levels in 11 hours as the office worker in the 1970s did in in a 40 hour week. Hurray, computers! Those productivity gains didn't go to our salaries, that's for damn sure.
I'm not saying we should work 11 hours but for godsake don't just accept 40 as the default. We should be pushing for 30 or so. 6 hour days instead of 8. Imagine an extra 2 hours of personal time a day.
You wouldn't feel so overwhelmed and rushed to fit everything in. But some of you want to do 10s? Crazy.
