Applied for an HR Coordinator position. After a successful phone interview with the HR director I was invited into the office for an in-person interview. Arrived and instead was sat in front of a laptop to meet with the HR dept on Teams while the director sat directly behind the computer listening. Two people had their camera on and one did not and had a terrible microphone so I could barely hear him.
Strangest interview I’ve ever been involved in especially considering this was a local large corporation. Any idea why I was asked to come in to the office (30 min away) when the interview could have been completed in front of my computer?
Very frustrating because I feel like I wasted my time when they’re clearly not taking this position seriously.
