Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew of any organized group that travels to support worker strikes even though they don't work at that particular place?
Like a strike task force lol. One that gathers people to add more weight and bodies to other workers causes even though that particular strike doesn't affect their employment.
For example the workers of Company A are about to go on strike in 2 days, so they get in touch with whoever administers this group who then gathers as many supporters as they can within a 20-30 mile radius of Company A (or further obv.) to show up and make some noise to help the employees of Company A be more heard and seen. Might have a better chance of attracting media coverage too?
I thought of this over the last couple days but I feel like this has to already exist?
Let me know if you are aware of any organizations that are akin to what I described above.
