Im stuck at a job in an industry that shouldnt be money centered (social services), but unfortunately is. Every social services agency Ive worked for starts out with ideals of helping people and then quickly goes to quantity over quality.
Im currently working at an agency that is doing just that. I make 25$ hr with some perks but there is no work/life balance and stress is through the roof, I dread Mondays and I work practically 7 days a week. My biggest issue is I live in a poor state with high cost of living. I cant quit my job because there isnt anything in the area that pays as well (sad I know). Id love to move but I dont have the money too. Id love to start my own crafting business but I dont have the time or energy to dedicate to it. Im just stuck and have been asking myself if this is it? Like will I be doing this until I die? Its all just so depressing.
