Good evening Reddit community.
I have a pretty peculiar case, and something about what I’m about to tell you does not leave me with a good feeling.
Long story short, I work in a hotel who offers room service. We recently had our executive chef retire and he was replaced by another chef. This is where it gets tricky. He was fired from his last 2 jobs, for multiple charges of s**ual assault.
When the owner of the hotel hired him, no back ground checks were done and he was immediately given the job. After a week, the owner had been demanded to do a back ground check, and they finally looked into it.
After further investigation, it was found that this man had over a dozen of different women from his last 2 jobs who had cases against him, all for the same exact reason. Now, when the owner had made this discovery, she completely ignored all of the charges and claimed he was clear.
She continued to place this man in a kitchen with ONLY women staff, knowing what he had done. What can be done about this. Knowing that this guy is in a kitchen with only women, with no other supervision, leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. I’m hoping something can be done.
I’d rather deal with it now before something bad happens. I have posting a story on r/antiwork about this same hotel closing my s**ual assault case, being done by the same woman.
Any tips will help.
