My current employer (restaurant) has a really bad reputation for not paying their staff.
Recently I got tired of asking to give my full tips.
I would make close to $200 tips on creditcard and would receive my tips as $46 cash. They claimed is a “mistake” but has happened over 3 times already.
They were not giving stubs and after some back and forth I got my stubs, not only i was making less than i expected I never got my “raise”, my employer is not paying the overtime hours.
Should I sue? I have receipts and access to my stubs.
Is this enough for a case? Any one had similar experience?
