Background on Mr Smelly
Mr Smelly, is a machine mechanic. He is argumentative and lazy. He will Tom Sawyer his way out of any jobs. It is actually quite impressive to be perfectly honest, I've fallen victim to it more times than I'd like to admit.
The event
Our local psychotic supervisor, Ms. Trailerpark was driving one of our industrial golf carts (500-750lbs + passengers) throughout our plant. Well she must of been in quite the hurry. She was speeding around 20mph, hugging the wall. Well it just so happens on this wall there are two passenger elevators. Those elevators have only been there since the building was constructed, so anyone could of made this mistake. Mr Smelly was walking off of the elevator towards his assignment when Ms Trailer Park hit him, he went forward quite a few feet. Then because she wasn't paying attention had 2 wheels (front and back on the drivers side) go over him.
Aftermath
Following this event, Ms Trailerpark made the audious claim that Mr Smelly was running to his assignment and he caused the accident. This actually flew for a couple of months until OSHA smacked management. Now we have “guard post” protecting the passenger elevator, Ms Trailerpark became an acting supervisor and Mr Smelly dropped the ball because he didn't want to get into medical compensation.
