Sure you can come do lesson prep… unpaid.

Just got done with a company meeting where we discussed scheduling and timecards. For a little background I'm a special needs teacher. My supervisor was told that I was leaving early and my timecard was not reflecting the hours worked as a result. I explained that I arrive at 7:30 to prepare the days lessons and activities, and by leaving at 3:30 I was working my full shift. Apparently this wasn't the answer she wanted. She tried to amend my schedule to an 8-4 shift, with me still coming in at 7:30 to do prep UNPAID.
