Positive story time!
Ive been a nurse less than a year, graduated last december- Ive gotten THREE raises since i started at my hospital and my hospital already has competitive rates. The traveling nurses here say my pay is the best theyve ever heard of for a regular floor staff nurse. I like our hospital system, i think patients get good care, and we have good nurse/patient ratios. I just got my 3rd raise today! Not that money is enough to make me stay anywhere- if ratios and the work environment sucked, you couldnt pay me enough.
I dont think loyalty to a company is a huge thing anymore with pensions gone, but i gotta say, this hospital is treating me well. My managers are great and flexible too. As long as they keep it up, ill stay. Other business/hospitals (looking at you Minnesota) should take note lol
