Switching Departments

I am a part-time CSR for a small but growing insurance agency and have planned to switch departments to another department. The main reason I want to switch is due to the manager, she makes the job unbearable and I no longer feel comfortable there. Thus, I spoke to HR around the middle of SEPT about being able to transfer and the current manager was upset I wanted to leave. After some time she finally calmed down and decided to continue with the transfer and gave me the final date of OCT 31st. At first, I was not happy with the given date because I wanted to leave as soon as possible, but ultimately I decided to wait it out. Fast forwarding to today we are just 2 weeks away from the end of OCT and I have received the worst news that the CEO does not want me…

Fast forwarding to today we are just 2 weeks away from the end of OCT and I have received the worst news that the CEO does not want me to transfer at the end of OCT due to all the responsibilities I handle within the agency and the department being short staff (they aren't really they have a lot of people but they are helping others with backed up work). The current manager told me that they will postpone the transfer until the end of the year, and I am kinda just fed up at this point with so much nonsense. I plan on looking for another job and want to place my 2 weeks' notice.
