I'm obscenely frustrated so I apologize if this isn't we written.
This past week I've been job searching and on Tuesday, finally got a lead. I went to my local taco bell to apply for overnights because I have experience, and walked in to talk to the manager.
She asked me to come back and said she'd do an interview, so we did. The interview went swimmingly, she seemed extremely interested, and told me she was hiring me and would have to look at the schedules to see where she could fit me in, as there had been some hour cuts recently.
I said okay, and I looked forward to hearing from her to hear about updates on my schedule and went home.
Fast forward to today, the following Friday.
I called them because I still hadn't received any word from taco bell, or even an email with onboarding paperwork. She first, didn't even recognize me. I had to remind her of the entire interview even though I had called taco bell twice before that interview to ask about my applications status before she remembered me.
She said she doesn't have hours, and was holding my information and right now, can't hire me due to the amount of labor is being allotted to her store; I'm absolutely furious.
The pay was 14$ an hour and I've missed what could have been three days worth of job searching because she's dicking me around. I'm so frustrated and sick of having companies do this to me.
