Hey everyone,
so I work as a customer success agent and this job is soul-sucking, we are only 4 agents against more than 1,000 customers each day and my boss just wouldn't hire more even though i bug him about it.
so i wanted to take a sick day just to start the weekened earlier and have some time for myself, wrote to him “hey boss, gonna take a sick day today”, and he starts saying “no, you have to try to make it because if you won't only 2 agents will be working today, i won't allow it”.
how is it my fault that only 2 agents are left today if 2 of us are sick? we told you many times we need more personnel. why bosses do that?! so frustrating to guilt trip me about it, just say cool, don't worry i'll cover for you.
