Last week I told my boss that I needed time for a mental recharge.. I work in marine conservation and its very demanding, much of my time is spent in the hot sun and the hours are long. Both my manager and boss at the company are AMAZING and they gave me 2 weeks off despite me still using up all my vacation days for 2022. How common is this for people in the work world? Is your boss understanding or do they keep it strict without room for time off (other then vacation time)?
