Talked my friend into applying for the same job. They have fewer qualifications and less experience than me. I gave them the questionnaire answers and wrote the essay part for them after passing these stages myself. They got a job offer and I didn’t.

Multiple openings, so we were hoping to be colleagues but I guess not. I don't regret helping my friend, they deserve better than their current shitty job, but I had to congratulate them over the phone to hide how sick and upset I feel. They were obviously drowning in guilt, no matter how cheerful I tried to be. Fuck this entire system.
