Teacher Appreciation Week is quickly approaching at my son’s after school care faculty, and of course their is a sign up asking all of us parents who already pay hundreds of dollars a month to pony up EVERYTHING for this celebration. TBH I have no issue buying some gift cards, etc. but the facility is even asking us to cover the staff lunch… shouldn’t the facility be taking care of their staff? Shouldn’t they show their employees some appreciation instead of leaning on the parents entirely?
