Teams going on “away” after 5 mins of not clicking on Teams…when I’m working on another screen.

My supervisor asked me why my teams was set to away/ why I wasn’t active. I was active and working – just on a web browser rather than staring at teams for no reason. I started watching how fast my teams went on away when I was literally just working. Another scenario is getting up for a stretch and some water. Teams sets me to away and my remote supervisor asks me where I went. Anyone had luck with putting an object on a key to stop teams from going “away” after 5 mins? Getting real annoying. I hate the spy culture remote work has created. Being made to feel like you’re not being productive enough just because you don’t hang out in a meeting app. ETA: my supervisor also said that altering or in any way customizing our Teams status would be a violation.
