So I wanted to know your experiences with these temp work agencies.I feel companies abuse them so they can keep you chasing that carrot for years, while you get week to week contracts and you can't plan anything long term.
I worked for a company for a year on day to day contracts, after finally getting week to week contracts.I'm so done with that bs.
But it's the way it works here in my country (belgium).If you want to apply for a job, you go trough the job agencies.And when the time comes to hire you, they can just say, not good enough, so they don't have to hire you.
It's the biggest scam and makes me so frustrated trying to get a job.
I had a job agency lie to me about the job and the time it took to get a fulltime contract just to get some one on that job, because they couldn't find anyone.They said it would be really fast, when in reality it would be when the next person would retire in 10 years.
I know, because I asked on my job interview.
