I’ve worked for the same company for 6 years now and have progressed through the ranks, I work hard and I give a damn about this company and the people I work with.
Recently I had an opportunity to move into a much higher role for a big chunk more money.
After completing the second round interview I was feeling confident, I have done the work before and I have heaps of people at different levels in the company that can vouch for my work.
However apparently this all amounts to nothing and I didn’t get the job.
Not even a call or email to say unsuccessful
I had to check our internal company website to find out the application was flagged as unsuccessful.
What a joke, what more can I do? How can some random external candidate get the role with no proven track record.
So frustrating!
