Terminated and asked to come back the next day? No thanks!

Little bit of background. I work as a Customer Operations Manager. I handle order fulfillment for a medium sized company. I was working for my ex company for roughly 6 months. I had to make sure that orders were fulfilled for local businesses and stores. Recently almost half of our department was laid off due to contracts being terminated with businesses or still in discussion. There were 11 of us and now we're down to 6 people, including myself. This has meant that we need to pick up the work load of the other 5 employees who were let go. Our higher ups were toxic, and often berating our department for being late on finalizing our shipments.

Me along with the other 5 workers in our department had been doing almost twice the work for a month when I approached our supervisor asking for a raise of 12%. I was instantly met with laughter, and told there was no room in the budget for a raise at this time. I had been working 65+ hours a week, and often times been on call to go in on the weekends to help assist the other employees who worked on the weekends

I started job hunting after I was denied my raise, and found a job for a competing company in my area for the same position. I interview it and was hired, and put in my 2 week notice to my supervisor the next day. My new job was offering me almost double the salary with much better benefits. My co-workers were upset that I was leaving the company, but wished me farewell.

Cue that next morning, I attempt to log in for the day and was unable to, and was met with my supervisor who ushered me to come with him. I was brought into my supervisors office with the GM present and was told effective immediately I was terminated from my position. Oh well, might as well enjoy the next couple weeks off until I start my new job, since I hadn't had one day off for the last 27 days

Supervisor calls me the next day, asking me if I would be willing to come back at matched salary of my new job until they can find a replacement for my position. I told them if they were willing to match my salary at my new position, then why was a simple 12% raise too much to keep me? I'm not willing to go in unless I'm given a $225/hr consultant rate, and supervisor told me I was being greedy, so I hung up.

The last 3 days I've had 12 calls and desperate text messages begging me to come in and help fill the position. I honestly just laugh at this point because they dug the hole themselves, and I hope my department follows suit and leaves
