I'm not you're typical person on this sub, my family owns a business at which I am employed part time. My issue is we have a select group of customers that have obtained my father's phone number and text in orders all hours of the day (they had mine before but I switched numbers and told no one). I don't care so much but then my father calls me to ask about the orders.
My question is this though: for people with corporate jobs, do you constantly get bothered by work during off time? Can you just not answer or will you receive disciplinary action for ignoring the texts? It just boggles my mind to think before cell phones how work wasn't 24 hours a day! Now we've been suckered into it and it seems there's no way out.
