I know I was just bitching about my salary yesterday, but I really want to say that this sub sorta changed my whole life and it's crazy. I'm a education major/philosophy minor, and kinda thought that my minor would be absolutely useless, but after doing some research and having to compile a huge complaint document of SpED law violations on the part of my former employer, I realized my background experience makes me a prime candidate for pursuing a career in labor and education law (I'm specifically interested in the intersection between the two)
So thanks to seeing horror stories daily, a hobby for philosophy and experience with gross managerial incompetence, I'm on track to a career I didn't even realize I had a passion for (let alone a future in) and I legit don't think I'd actually find something I enjoy doing this much if it wasn't for this sub, so thank y'all- I hope in a couple years I can pay it forward to some extent
