So the last couple months, one of our production lines has entirely ceased due to damaged parts. These parts are specialty parts and we typically have the manufacturer install them as it's simply faster and easier for them to do it, plus they've done the work for us and helped us with every production line since we opened. Decades of service. That is, until our new plant manager decides to burn that bridge to save a buck. The line has been repeatedly up and down repeatedly since he brought in a different company to install the parts and they royally fucked up. The line is totally unable to produce good product and the original company now refuses to service the line because of it. That is, until our new plant manager decides to burn that bridge to save a buck. The line has been repeatedly up and down repeatedly since he brought in a different company to install the parts and they royally fucked up. The line is totally unable to produce good product and the original company now refuses to service the line because of it.

On top of that, he also let it slip in a crew meeting that our plant exceeds the others in production and income by a wide margin, all the while employing less people and running our lines much faster and getting paid less.

Management also got additional inflation raises this year, but we didn't. Can't wait for them to cry about having no money for raises when it's time to negotiate contracts again.
