I just went through the thread that some user posted about only allowing for a certain ideology to be heard on this sub. I was surprised to find that it was supported and rewarded greatly.
I’m not an active user here at all but I make this post to pose a question: isn’t this the same kind of thing we see in the “super-woke” movements of the modern day? An unwillingness to listen to anyone that doesn’t agree, a negative-labeling of anyone who doesn’t agree, etc? It seems like an extremely anti-progressive mindset to adopt. Ideas should withstand scrutiny and people learn from others with opposing viewpoints.
I wonder what the point of this sub would be if it were just a bunch of people agreeing with each other about every minor detail.
