I just wanted to take a moment to highlight this atrocious system and exactly how it takes advantage of people. This is because inbetween starting another job offer I went under-cover at a furniture store. The draw was 20/hr but the people hired didnt understand that it is a debt that must be paid back out of your commission. So any labor or cleaning you do not directly related to selling is essentially unpaid. Not to mention, not all products are sold above margin. This particular store also made you wait 45 days before commissions became eligible, thus creating a system in which you are constantly indebted to them. Beware Ashley Home Furniture store and Regency Management Group.
