I only make $25/hour and the multiple late fees incurred this year have amassed to $156.00… that’s almost a day’s paycheck I’ve been asked to forfeit because our business manager is an idiot.
I don’t know what to do besides go to HR and likely get fired and start a whole legal debacle over this, one I can’t afford. I mean, the last time I tried to complain about being scheduled 12 days straight with no PTO or comp days until 4 months later, they threatened me with “insubordination” for even suggesting that was too much work because it’s “in your job description” to be a “24/7 availability employee”.
I cannot afford to lose this job for many reasons but I’m so sick of being fucking stomped on by the corporate overlords, constantly trying to skim my paycheck and work me to the bone. I feel like a slave to the system, I’m constantly getting fucked over, any time I’ve tried to stand up for myself it blows up on my face and I’m sick of being such a fucking doormat but my only options right now are this job or McDonald’s
