During the height of covid the facility I worked at had 22 unvaccinated die. When the new strain came some people got it again. Including me. Since I was vaccinated I wasn’t hospitalized but had some symptoms. Mainly fatigue. And since there was no one to work the quarantine hall it was left to me and a few others. I worked all night for 7 days straight.
We were paid nothing extra.
Those employees who were not vaccinated got to go on a five day paid vacation when they got covid.
When I got covid again I was fully vaxxed with no symptoms. Since there were no residents on quarantine I was sent home for five days with no pay.
I hate that facility. And I hate healthcare workers who aren’t vaccinated.
