I was just thinking, so much of grocery store staff, fast food staff, waitstaff, and so many other service jobs are majority teenagers and young people.
I am a young people, and as a young people, it’s kindof insane that WE are the people that keep a lot of really essential (or at LEAST essential to consumerist culture) from completely crumpling. A whole ass country that would crumble without the labor of people 20 and under.
I was pushing carts today, and was just thinking about how I and a single other person are literally carrying the entire store. Either us, or a couple cashiers or stock dorks or whoever leave, and boom the store literally cannot run. I foresee a chaotic good moment coming from this some time lol
