As the #3 within my company where we renovate garages and closets my guys come to me for everything. I'm the problem solver, the go to for everything, and I support every attempt at learning something new.
They don't even trust my company president with their issues, personal or work related as his attitude is this passive “it'll just work itself out” and my guys come to me to help them solve issues that come their way.
I never had a leader in my working life. I had a couple of store managers that I felt more trust for, but they still never quite led the charge.
