I don't know where to post this but it seemed appropriate to post on this sub. Yesterday I talked to a capitalist and I haven't felt the same since.
She said, and I'm paraphrasing a bit, “my mother wants to expand her business to Laos because she says the people there are dumber so they'll work harder.”
I still haven't been able to get that sentence out of my head. How blatant it was. How she fully and casually acknowledged how disgustingly evil and vile she is. I wanted to throw up.
I know we're in late stage capitalism, I know we're constantly getting fucked over by those in power, but to hear that acknowledgement from their own mouths, was the first time that it truly hit me how truly evil these people are. They aren't brainwashed, they aren't conditioned, they just wanna line their pockets with more money and don't care about anything else.
