Bryan Stevenson said this and I think about it frequently, justice is truly only for the rich. Look at all of the posts here talking about hostile work places, people being assaulted and abused both physically and mentally.
If you are a worker you have 4 options:
1) Union: if you have a union you can go to the. Unions have been decimated.
2) Gvt Regulation : OSHA for example, conservatives have pulled the teeth from these agencies and while they might fine the company, they can’t protect you personally.
3) Press: If you can get them to pay attention to you the press can be powerful, but even there, the press is watered down in the modern media market and you need a VERY compelling story.
3) Sue: you can sue… who has the money for that? I make a good
living and I can’t afford it.
Short of that you are alone, unionization is the best option, there is strength in unity and justice in unity.
