The part people miss

Ive been self employed for the last year & a half. It’s sustained me decently until now. Like most of us I can’t afford life right now. I need more income to keep up. So I went in for an interview this morning. I started getting nervous because I got caught up by the train right down the street from the building. I started getting nervous because I got caught up by the train right down the street from the building. Still on time but the 10 minute early good first impression was blown. All to get here to find out not one but BOTH managers were not in to conduct the interview at least 1 of them knew was scheduled.

The assistant manager was around but copped an attitude with me saying he had “bigger things to do right now”. He told me to come back at 1pm when the next AM is on shift. He couldn’t be bothered. When you actually want a job but see how things operate beforehand. It really discourages you. Now I get to waste MORE expensive gas to come back if I even decide I want to. So far this “job” has cost me more than I’ve made.

This work shit has become a joke.
