I work 7 on 7 off, 10-12 hour shifts. I am a medical technologist.
Our shifts are scheduled to straddle the pay period. So Wednesday to Saturday is one, Sunday to Tuesday another. Makes getting paid OT difficult especially with the draconian time clock rounding which is 15 minutes on the front end and 7 on the back.
Businesses do everything to stay within the letter of the law while shitting on the intent.
I make a lot of money per hour so this costs me a good bit.
