The person who trained me asked me today why so many people quit

I told them because of pay and company policy. I told them what pay should be. What policies are ridiculous for our line of work and they asked to share it with their boss. I told them fuck yeah and leave my name out of it so I could go into way more detail. I wish I had told them a much higher number than I did when I said what starting pay should be though in case it turns out the company could afford way more than I actually comprehend or they come back with a low ball offer I hope something comes out of that conversation that isn’t just more bullshit “pizza party”. (Our equivalent is points to save up for a gift card). If nothing does come out of that conversation I’m moving on for sure after my husbands industry picks back up this June. We’re all…

Our starting pay right now is $13/hr. We deal with some tough cookies and they wonder why my training class performed so well in training then hit the floor only to leave before the new class came.

Pay sucks that’s why.
