The possible issue I see regardless if companies pay us an actual living wage

Let’s say companies started paying us more to match the cost of living and some. Then in our mind we would think to deliver and actually work harder as they expect of us because we would be paid our worth. Here’s my next thing I thought about— I feel like we are all so burnt out already that no matter how much a company pays me, I’m still lethargic and generally numb to work in general at this point that my level of dedication just still wouldn’t be there. Like I feel like a lot of us are at a point of no return and it really isn’t about just the money so much in the bigger picture. I can’t speak for everyone, but it feels like there’s multiple sides to this whole coin. Like yes, I want more money, but then again my level of hard work may not…
