I started a baking job back in August. The owner and I discussed right off the bat that I need a better wage and I'm willing to work for it. The boss says to give him a month to see what I know before he pays me. During this month the woman training me, who had 7 work days left before she quit, got a raise. So did the other guy who is about to quit who put his schedule down to weekends. Despite coming in early, coming in when I didn't have to and never saying no, all I've been told about the raise is that I'm not ready for it. Supposedly, because of the way I sweep the floor and because of how I measure ingredients. Boss literally had to grab at straws to justify not paying me. He's booking me for 40 hours this week, how do I make it worth it?
