People keep blaming inflation on wages and it actually has nothing to do with wages, it has to do with stock.
It's a combination of cutting costs for so long and having no way to artificially lower the price along with inflation and refusal to post lower profits.
See because we have built everything to be about quarterly profits, the CEOs/boards will not accept lower profits because the stock goes down.
They won't accept this because they literally live off of debt taken out using the stock as collateral. That's how they avoid paying taxes.
So for them to buy anything new, they need those numbers to go up. That's the definition of inflation. Now that didn't effect normal goods, just assets. But like I said at the beginning, we are to the point where they can't keep profits up without raising prices.
It doesn't have to do with wages, it has to do with stock prices.
There's also too much money on the system from low interest rates but that is just affecting the inflation of assets.
Inflation isn't going to stop until taxes are adjusted to prevent the rich from avoiding taxes by living on debt and preventing stocks from just hording value.
