My supervisor started blowing up my phone at 4am yesterday morning because a co worker called out, and since my companies contract with the building management stipulats that the minimum staffing level is 4 security guards and a supervisor that meant he needed to find someone to fill in. I saw him this morning when I was coming in and he was all upset, turns out it was a good idea to turn off my phone as he said he had called me 15 times as he couldn't get anyone else to come either (I've started passing on OT since I realized OT isn't going to gain me anything other then a thanks). Well since he couldn't find anyone to agree to stay he had to fill in and worked from 11pm to 3pm.
