The typical work-obsessed boomer

The mental image I have of the typical work-obsessed boomer is that of some bald fat guy with a perma-frown who has been through multiple divorces, is a manager of some type who works ridiculous hours and is hateful to his employees, all the while going on and on about things like “take pride in your job,” “satisfaction in a job well done,” “entitled millenials,” and “nobody wants to work anymore.” Then he dies of a heart attack in his early 60s due to not taking care of his body as he just worked all the time. Then he is lowered into the grave where he is soon forgotten. I have no desire to be that guy. A relaxed attitude towards work and life, as well as focusing on an early retirement, is the way to go.
