The world I believed in was shown to be a lie

Back when I was a child, I thought that 25% of the population was millionaires, 50% are middle class with generational wealth (that varies from large safety nets to small ones), and 25% are poor without generational welath. I also thought that work was doable and comfortable, because in order for a person to perform their job, they need resources to function. When I grew up I learned that only 8% are millionaires with seas of generational wealth, and 92% are people with nothing, so to sustain themselves they are forced to suffer at work and their basic needs aren't even met. The margins of society are significantly wider than its canter. This is slavery to me.
