I tried looking for it, but when i was job searching i was browsing through indeed and one job caught my eye. Of course it was extremely vague about what you would be doing and had all the hallmarks of a shitty MLM/sales job. But i was desperate and nearly homeless so i applied, and as expected got an interview within 30 min cause that's just how these places work.
After 10 min at the place i already knew i was not going to accept the job even if offered, low pay, bad incentives, no time off until like 6 months in, just a bad feeling all around. But the final confirmation came from the CEO himself, he was in the office and he came over to meet me while i was wrapping up and grabbing my stuff to leave. He asked how i felt about the interview, i just said i think it went well, just wanting to get the fuck out. He said if i knew the key to sales, I said no. He said
“No does not mean no, no means not yet” and stood in front me with this big shit eating grin, obviously super proud of himself. He then got in front of me blocking me from leaving and “asked” what i thought of that. my response
“Well, with all due respect, that sounds like something a rapist would say, no is 100% an acceptable answer and should be respected, i know this is obviously in the realm of sales, but it comes off as extremely aggressive and makes me very uncomfortable to be a part of a company who would advertise that as their slogan”.
I heard muffled talking from the cubicles, and stifled laughter, He looked at me in the eye and said “that not how you talk to your potential future boss” my response
“its a good thing that have 0 intention of working here, so i don't really need to pretend like that is not an extremely rapey sounding phrase, can you please move i am leaving now”
he just kind of side stepped and i could feel his eyes burning a hole in the back of my head, needless to say i did not get a call back
TLDR: CEO was probably a rapist
