There are not enough workers – Rant – Tech jobs

Companies keep complaining of not being able to find tech talent, when the initial screening stage depends on solving stupid puzzles (hackerrank and such). These tests have nothing to do with what the job entails, and are poorly structured. I feel sick when I receive one of these online tests.
