A manager at a company reached out to me, asking if I would work at their company. He said the starting hourly would be $17, and I said I couldn’t do it for less than $21. He said that if I fit the company needs, they could get me to $22.
I went in for the interview, and the start date I was told by the manager was wrong (I hoped to start in July, they wanted me to start now if I was hired), and they said the most they could pay me was $17. I tried to negotiate, but they were firm. I just feel really mislead and upset.
