They need us just as much as we need them (probably more). We are told that we need jobs so we can survive. But they need us to survive, too.

We are forced to fall in line and apply to their positions because this is tradition. Because of this, we are subjected to their desires and whims. Low pay and no benefits. But, don’t forget, they also need us to work so they can survive. Can someone create a new platform where those who want to be employed list their ideal jobs?—I know this is a thing but let’s make it THE thing. Then, companies can spend their time recruiting and applying and wondering if we are in their payment range. It is obviously not working (for us) from the other end. It’s the great resignation. Let’s not waste the power.
