They paid me half the rate they said they would.

Please do not screenshot or report on other social media Looking for ADVICE and to VENT I recently got my bachelor’s degree and accepted a long-term sub position. In their handbook, it indicates that I would get paid $225 per day. My teaching license is still being processed, but I was told I could begin the position because I am co-teaching almost all my classes. But when I got my paycheck, it was at their base rate of $112 per day. I immediately contacted HR, and they said that they would continue paying me at that rate until my license is approved. I told them I would not be back until my license is approved and they could pay me at $225 per day. I’m in Minnesota, US, if it makes any difference. I’m pretty sure I’m helpless here, but needless to say, I’m furious!!!!
