So saw this commercial for the US National Guard and all I could think was “F*@$k you Na. Guard.” It’s not that Gen. Z is struggling because they are lazy, it’s because employers have gotten away with paying peanuts and treating them like crap. Then the commercial goes on to show me all these people who apparently cannot make ends meet with their main job, who are also National Guard, and acts like this is not really a big deal that they need a military job for the pay/benefits. It just feels incredibly tone deaf to me.
