They want a million dollars!

I’m an RN in a hospital OR. One of our physicians assistants was brutally murdered this year. He was a very sweet and integral part of our work-life. His wife is also a PA who works for us and is still lovely even in her unimaginable grief. It was heartbreaking and it’s still hard to believe it actually happened, especially to one of our own. Anyway, the idea was proposed to name the surgical waiting room after him and the hospital will do it for a MILLION DOLLARS… to name a room and put up a plaque for a man who spent every day there who lost his life. I guess since he wasn’t a billionaire his name isn’t worth having on his place of work, the place he made a difference every day.
