I decided to get some experience on my resume by volunteering. This position is 100% remote, I'll never have to interact with anyone in person. As part of the onboarding, I have to fill out 10 forms. That's fine, I guess…. …..But I can only be “hired” once I go to the local police station and get my fingerprints taken? It's not like I'm applying to the Pentagon, I'd be doing some marketing on evenings.
